Co-owner, seamstress and expert in bridal fittings! Carys has 10 years + experience in manufacturing and seamstress work. After finishing her degree in Fashion & Textiles, Carys provided a seamstress service from home, with the aim to one day have her own shop. With the help of her partner in crime Faye, she has now achieved her goal and could not be happier with the good name Hemming Birds now has in Plymouth. Carys is always on the look out for new ventures to continue to grow the business. The part of her job she loves most now is winning new contracts, and working with other businesses which enables her to provide more sewing jobs in the South West.

Faye has a great wealth of experience, and since college has been continually working towards her own goal, to own her own her own business offering sewing services. She has a great passion for Hemming Birds and you will usually find Faye making new business connections and contracts. She has a great repour with all of our customers and clients.
